The Royal School of Church Music will be streaming an interactive CAROL SERVICE from All Saints Church, Cambridge on Saturday 12th December at 6 pm. It will be broadcast on the RSCM Facebook page and on You Tube. Chris Hedges has an electronic copy of the order of service, complete with all the words and music. If you would like a copy to be sent to you by email please ask Chris at firstname.lastname@example.org
On the evening of the Carol Service you can join in via the RSCM YouTube or Facebook page: the service begins at 6pm. Follow the link from the RSCM website: https://www.rscm.org.uk/online-resources/the-big-christmas-carol-service/ The broadcast includes video recordings with a conductor to follow, and comes to you from the beautiful All Saints Church in Cambridge. There are some (very) special celebrity readers and contributors including Rowan Williams, Theresa May, Alexander Armstrong, and a special introduction from HRH The Prince of Wales; and lovely music, including John Rutter conducting one of his own carols. Amongst the congregational carols, a unique version of O come all ye faithful will bring together choirs from across the world.
You can, of course, just watch the service; but we think it’s better (and frankly, more fun) to be able to sing out in full voice, even if it’s from your front room at home this year.
